A day after social media influencer and Big Boss winner Elvish Yadav allegedly assaulted YouTuber Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, Yadav was arrested by Gurugram police on Saturday. Thakur, a 25-year-old Delhi resident, was reportedly beaten by Elvish and his accomplices on Friday. Following the incident, Thakur filed an FIR against Yadav. The video of the fight had gone viral on social media platforms.
According to the Gurugram police officials of Sector 53 police station, Elvish had called Thakur to a mall on Golf Course road for some discussion.
“That shop was owned by some of Elvish’s friend and when he came in he started beating Thakur,” Police said.
In a video released by Sagar Thakur it is clearly shown that Elvish coming inside the shop along with some of his friends and started beating Sagar without having any conversation.
Though Thakur resisted but he couldn’t prevent and fell to the ground later being joined by the accused companions and assaulted him.
In another video clip posted by Thakur on social media platform, he is heard that Yadav called him to meet him and when Thakur reached the designated place Yadav started thrashing him and threatened to kill him. He also said that he got some injuries in his mouth after the fight.
On the other hand Elvish Yadav is also alleging that Sagar Thakur had threatened him and said that he’ll kill his family and that’s the reason of the fight and that fight took place in the heat of the moment and not in planned way.
In the FIR registered by Thakur, Elvish has been booked under IPC sections 147,149,323 and 506. Thakur also alleged that he tried to kill him and police is not working properly and all sections are bailable and that the accused will be out of the bars soon. Police said Thakur’s medico-legal test report confirmed that he suffered four minor injuries from the incident.
