Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with enthusiam across the State

Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with enthusiasm in Madhya Pradesh. Rojedars offered namaz in mosques across the state. After this there was a discourse.

In the Tajul Masjid of the capital Bhopal, Hazrat Maulana Professor Mohammad Hassan Khan advised Muslims to stay away from cattle business. He also expressed concern over the image of Muslims being created on social media.

Professor Mohammad Hassan emphasized on Hindu-Muslim unity. He said that there should be rapport (reconciliation) with all non-Muslims. Stand and sit together, so that there is no negative impact on Hindu-Muslim unity in any way. Muslims should avoid cattle trading.

He said, we ourselves have to change the image of Muslims that is being spread on social media. After the speech, he also prayed for the progress and peace of the state and the country. He also told the people about the history of Tajul Masjid.

The first Eid prayers were held here in the capital. About one lakh people participated in the namaz and prayed for peace and brotherhood in the country.

The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in the city. Lakhs of people are prostrating themselves in worship of God. We are collectively praying for peace and progress and prosperity of the country. This sequence of happiness will last for 3 days. As per tradition, many people are going to the cemeteries of the city and reciting Fatiha.

The first Eid namaz was offered at 7:15 am in the Eidgah in Bhopal. Here, Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi offered namaz. After this, Eid prayers were held in other mosques of the city. In the speech at Tajul Masjid, emphasis was laid on Hindu-Muslim unity. The history of the mosque was also discussed. After this the people hugged and said Eid Mubarak.

One lakh people offered namaz at Eidgah

Idgah Hills Mosque ground has a seating capacity of 55 thousand people. On the occasion of Eid, about 1 lakh people offered namaz sitting on the streets on three sides of the Eidgah, Eid Masjid and its grounds. The seating capacity of devotees in Bhopal's Tajul Masjid is about 28000. Here, more than 30000 people offered Eid namaz in both the grounds inside.

On the occasion of Eid, people from different areas of the city started arriving at Idgah at Idgah Hills, Tajul Masjid at Royal Market and other mosques of the city from 5:00 in the morning. First of all, Namaz was offered at Idgah Mosque located in Idgah Hills in Bhopal at 7.15 pm. After this, Namaz was held in Tajul Masjid at 7:30 in the morning.
