Central probe agency—the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday interrogated State infamous police Inspector Meera Singh at ED's regional office. The probe agency has prepared a list of questions to interrogate Meera Singh. Last week during raids at Meera Singh’s premises the ED seized eight phones from Meera Singh’s premises, and much shocking information was found in it. Only after that summons were sent and called for questioning. The ED had raided Meera Singh and her related places on March 20. Many documents, chats and other information were found in this raid.

Much information has been received in the chat. If sources are to be believed, an IPS officer had requested Meera Singh for transfer. The officer had to get posted in the desired district. Meera got that officer transferred very easily. Only through this can Meera's reach at higher echelons can be gauged.

Apart from this, ED has also received chats related to crossing of illegal sand trucks at district borders. In which the number and details of the truck were sent to Meera through WhatsApp. ED has answered all these questions.

In the matter related to sand and transfer posting, first summons have been sent to Meera and she has been called for questioning. After the interrogation, for verification of the questions and answers given to Meera, a summon can be sent to the concerned person and he can also be called for questioning. It is clear that ED officials are answering questions by showing Meera's mobile chat, so it is a bit difficult to answer. In such a situation, along with Meera, the people running the sand syndicate will also be in a difficult situation.

On the basis of the case registered in ACB, ED i.e. The Enforcement Directorate had registered EICR against Meera Singh. Now further investigation is being done on the basis of this recorded EICR. Many links will be connected in the investigation. It is being said that Meera had a lot of influence in Hemant Soren's government.

In some cases the DGP had transferred him to Hazaribagh. After which Meera got that transfer returned. It is being claimed that Meera was in contact with a person who was influential in the Hemant government. Chats related to that have also been received.

Let it be known that this is the same Meera Singh who was arrested by ACB while taking a bribe of ten thousand rupees. The case is of 2021 when Meera Singh was the sub-inspector in Mahila police station in Khunti. A complaint was lodged by ACB regarding managing a case. After that Meera was arrested and sent to jail. But after being released from jail, he was posted back in Ranchi and she was made in-charge of Tupudana OP.
