DyCM meets people; warns against delay in resolving grievances

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday met people from different districts at his camp office on Kalidas Marg here and assured them of prompt resolution of their problems.

He also warned the officials that no laxity will be tolerated if any unnecessary delay is found in resolving the people’s problems.

According to an official communiqué released on Monday afternoon, during the public hearing, Maurya listened to the problems of each person with seriousness and directed the officials concerned to resolve them. He has also instructed the officials concerned to resolve the problems in such a way that the problem-ridden people were completely satisfied and they did not have to wander anywhere again and again.

Maurya listened to the problems and complaints of women, Divyangjans, elderly and gave necessary directions to the officials concerned to resolve them at a fast pace on priority basis.

In the Janata Darshan, various problems related to land dispute, accidents, illegal occupation, education, health, housing allotment, school construction, land lease, possession of land/property, removing of encroachment, road construction, electricity, arrest of accused, etc. were raised by people from different districts of the state.  The deputy chief minister himself went to the complainants and heard their problems face to face.

In the Janata Darshan, hundreds of people from about three dozen districts including Amethi, Kanpur Dehat, Budaun, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Banda, Moradabad, Farrukhabad, Prayagraj, Pilibhit, Gonda, Basti, Shravasti, Sitapur, Hamirpur, Pilibhit, Mahoba, Hardoi, Kanpur Nagar, Amroha, Muzaffarnagar, Hardoi, Lakhimpur, Pratapgarh and Mainpuri came and shared their problems.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, also spoke over telephone with district magistrates of Amethi, Kanpur Dehat, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Moradabad, Farrukhabad, Prayagraj, Pilibhit, and superintendents of police of Budaun, Hathras and Balrampur regarding resolution of problems related to these districts.

He also spoke to senior officers of other districts and senior officials of the government including consolidation commissioner, managing directors of Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam and Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, food commissioner, housing commissioner and others and gave them necessary direction for early disposal of the grievances of people.
