DRM inspects Lohardaga station renovation project

Ranchi Railway Division's DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra and Senior DCM Nishant Kumar inspected Lohardaga station on Saturday. He inspected the construction works under the station renovation project being carried out under Amrit Bharat Station. DRM inspected accessible toilets, passenger waiting room, beautification of the newly constructed station and doubling of railway tracks at the railway station. Apart from this, after inspecting the extension of platforms, trailing and facing points, safety norms, he reviewed with the concerned officers the working methodology to be adopted in the implementation of development works. 

During this, he reviewed the cleanliness of the station, development works in the station panel, station superintendent room. Reviewed the progress with the officers and supervisors engaged in this. He came from Lohardaga Special Salon at around 11:30 in the morning. Gave necessary instructions to the officers. He asked to complete the work on time. While talking to the media, DRM Shri Singh said that Lohardaga station has been selected under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The railway administration is fully committed to the development of Lohardaga railway station. He said that whatever errors there are at the station will be rectified soon. 

Railways has started the work of modernizing the station under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Some work has also been completed. Under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, development work is being done in a phased manner by preparing a master plan. He said that the work will be completed by March 2025. This also includes construction of long platforms and ballastless tracks. Along with internet facilities, arrangements for footpath and passenger parking will also be made. There will also be excellent arrangements for lighting, shade and drinking water at the station. He said that strict action will be taken along with penalties against contractors who are negligent in construction work. The process of getting the work done again will be started. After inspection, DRM went to Boda station via Badkichampi. On this occasion, a dozen officers including Station Superintendent GP Yadav, Security Officer Inspector Raghuveer Singh were present.

 

After meeting Ranchi DRM Jasmeet Singh, who came for a surprise inspection of Lohardaga railway station, Bharatiya Janata Party Lohardaga District General Secretary Pashupatinath Paras asked for repairing the dilapidated road connecting Mukti Dham passing near the station, and for the Ranchi-Lohardaga MEMU train and Demands were made to increase the number of coaches in Sasaram Intercity Express. On which he assured to take positive initiatives.
