Donation Camp Held at University Law College (VBU) on Constitution Day

To commemorate the 75th Constitution Day, University Law College, Vinoba Bhave University, organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with HDFC Bank as a proud sponsor partner. The event was a resounding success, reflecting the spirit of social responsibility and constitutional values.The camp began with a warm welcome by Dr. Rashmi Pradhan, Principal-in-Charge of University Law College, who highlighted the significance of Constitution Day as a reminder of our fundamental duties and the spirit of fraternity.The Constitution Day emphasises Hamara sanvidhan hamare Samman .

It also reinforces democratic ideals, encouraging active civic participation and responsibility. She pointed out that the day reflects the vision of a progressive, inclusive India, safeguarding the rights of its citizens while emphasizing their duties. promotes awareness of constitutional values, rights, and duties. She emphasized that blood donation is a living example of the constitutional ideal of service to humanity and urged everyone to continue contributing to society in meaningful ways.The Chief Guest, Gaurav Khurana, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), lauded the efforts of the college in organizing the event.

He spoke about the role of the Constitution in fostering equality and justice, emphasizing how blood donation transcends barriers of caste, religion, and socioeconomic status, embodying the principles enshrined in the Preamble.Dr. Khemlal Mehta, NSS Program Officer of UCET, inspired the audience with his words on youth engagement. He stressed the importance of student participation in community welfare and how initiatives like blood donation camps empower them to make a tangible difference in society.
