A complaint has been lodged regarding the suspicious death of a dog which the owner had sent for sterilization on Saturday in Kaljikheda, Kolar police have started investigation.
The owner gave the dog (female) for sterilization on August 7 at Kaljikheda ABC Center located in the Kolar area. After the sterilization, it was kept under observation for a week where the dog died on Saturday under suspicious circumstances.
After this, when the complainant woman asked the center employees about the cause of death, no one was ready to tell the cause of death. Regarding this, the woman created a ruckus in the center, demanding action against the doctor of the center. Kolar police has received the application and started investigating the matter.
The complainant Rebecca Emmanuel is a teacher in a private school. In the application form given to the police, she said that on August 7, she gave her black colored dog for sterilization at Kajlikheda ABC Center. The dog was sterilized on 10th August. Due to lack of care, its stitches were opening again and again.
Even after complaining many times, proper care was not taken. The dog was to be returned on Saturday. Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Dr. Rajendra of the center called the dog for treatment in the OT through an employee.
Here the stitches were being done on the dog, during this time the dog died under suspicious circumstances. She was not informed about this. When she reached the center in the evening to pick up the dog, she saw its dead body. An employee was found there, when she asked him the cause of death, she replied that his job is only to take care of the dog. Ask the doctor the cause of death.
The doctor also did not give any answer regarding the death. TI Ashutosh Upadhyay said that the matter is being investigated.
