Doctors serving the government of Jharkhand will get 13 months’ salary like the police department, because health service is also an emergency service like police service. The decision was taken in a high level meeting between Health Minister and officials and members of IMA and Jhasa on Wednesday.
According to IMA much awaited demands related to medical, consensus was reached between the Health Minister, Principal Secretary, NRHM Director, IMA members and Jhasa members regarding amending the Clinical Establishment Act on the lines of UP.
In the Clinical Establishment Act, there was a consensus on freeing up hospitals with up to 50 beds on the lines of Uttar Pradesh. The decision to issue the order related to this as soon as possible was taken by the Health Minister and the Principal Secretary.
As per the order of the Supreme Court, there was a consensus on including the representative of the Indian Medical Association and Junior Doctors Association in the formation of the National Task Force.
Health Minister Banna Gupta gave necessary instructions to the Deputy Commissioner of Sahibganj on mobile and said that the order related to this is being issued by the department. The Deputy Development Commissioner should be relieved from the post of nodal and instructions were given to stop action against on-duty doctors.
Separate allocation of T.A./D.A will be given to the deputation doctor in Shravani Mela. In Lohardaga and other places where civil surgeons are in charge, orders related to declaring them D.D.O. will be issued as soon as possible.
Whatever committee will be formed at the state/ district/ subdivision level, the IMA representative will also be a member in it as before. Consensus was reached on taking necessary decisions related to the safety of women doctors.
In the meeting, mainly Dr. Ajay Singh, Dr. R.S. Das, Dr. Pradeep Singh, Dr. Vimlesh, Dr. Shambhu Prasad, Dr. Mrityunjay, Dr. Saurabh Chaudhary and Dr. Stiphen Khess were present.
