Director General's Commendation Roll (DGCR) Award Ceremony was organized at the Police Officers' Mess of Police Headquarters on Wednesday with the aim of honoring the police officers and employees who have made significant contributions in maintaining law and order in Madhya Pradesh by demonstrating their devotion to duty.

In the program, DGP Sudhir Saxena honored 51 police officers and employees who did remarkable work in various fields by giving them citations and discs.

On this occasion, DGP Saxena said that I appreciate the sacrifice and dedication of all the policemen. Our policemen, standing firm on the path of duty and facing all kinds of challenges, have set an example of dedicated public service in the field of crime control and civil security. Your family members also have an important contribution in your success. You have made the motto of patriotism-public service meaningful.

He said that crimes should be controlled while being sensitive towards the weaker sections and women.

In the investiture ceremony organized at the Officers' Mess of PHQ, DGP Saxena said that in the glorious journey of Madhya Pradesh Police Department since its inception till now, it has played an unforgettable role in maintaining intact the traditions of law and order, peace, mutual love and brotherhood in the state. have contributed.

Many brave officers and soldiers have played an important role in taking Madhya Pradesh Police to this position. Recognizing the work of police personnel encourages a culture of excellence. All the police officers and soldiers of the state should take inspiration from him. He said that police do not have personal lives, we always have to be ready to work amidst challenges to perform our duty. In such a situation, it is very important to honor and encourage the police officers and employees doing good work by organizing such events to boost their morale. DGP Shri Saxena said that apart from the 51 police officers and employees honored in this program today, there are many other policemen who have done excellent work. I request all the officers to identify such officers and employees and reward them in their respective units. He said that the Madhya Pradesh Police Department is also making efforts to increase the efficiency of all police officers and soldiers as well as to improve the working environment. Keep making continuous efforts to increase the efficiency of the police by doing self-assessment and always keep working with full devotion and dedication.

The conferment of the Director General's Commendation Roll (DGCR) is a unique tradition of the uniformed forces in which the Head of the Force confers a decoration in public recognition of the outstanding work done by his officers/men to boost morale.

Following this tradition, a grand ceremony was organized by DGP Saxena to confer this decoration from the year 2023. Under this, all the selected officers/employees are being respectfully invited to the Police Headquarters and given the said decoration in front of all the senior officers in a dignified ceremony. In this series, in November 2022, decorations were awarded to selected officers/employees who performed well in excellent work.
