A meeting of the approval and monitoring committee of pre-matric scholarship and post-matric scholarship was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. In the meeting, approval was given to 10924 students of the financial year 2023-24 under the Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme, approval of 250 students of the year 2022-23 under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme, 44 students of the financial year 2021-22 under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. Under the approval of students and post-matric scholarship scheme, there was discussion on renewal of a total of 26 educational institutions and registration of 01 new educational institutions in the financial year 2023-24.
Also, the proposals were unanimously approved and necessary instructions were given to the District Welfare Officer. Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Additional Collector Saurabh Prasad, ITDA Project Director Sujata Kujur, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajmohan Khalkho, District Welfare Officer Narayan Ram, District Education Officer, District Information and Science Officer, Treasury Officer, Labor Superintendent and others were present in the meeting.
