Crime Branch arrested three absconding accused for duping Bhopal based victim to the tune of Rs 1.42 Crore and hatching criminal conspiracy, committing fraud and committing crime.
The accused are committing fraud from Gurgaon, Haryana and used to cheat people by giving fake cheques.
The applicants Rajkumari Gupta and Nikhil Gupta of 101 Classica Apartment, Sanjeev Nagar, New Jail Road, Bhopal submitted a complaint application to the Crime Branch against the accused Sumit Pal Singh, Vinay Parashar, Coral Singla.
The accused supplied only 475 metric tons in the name of supplying 1500 metric tons of asphalt, cheating the victim of 1025 metric tons worth Rs. 1,42,34,062. Based on the complaint police registered a case under section 420, 406, 120 B of the Indian Penal Code, and the actual crime was registered and taken into investigation.
A team of Bhopal Crime Branch was formed and with the help of technical assistance, on the basis of location, they left for Delhi, Gurgaon, Haryana and reached Police Station Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon where on the basis of location, they reached the office of the accused.
