Continuous rains disrupt normal life in many parts of the State

Disrupting the normal life spell of rain continued in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, a woman was swept away in the strong current of the river in Gwalior. Her body was found one km away.

The Vaishali river in Bhind has been swollen for three days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in more than 40 districts of the state in the next 24 hours.

The spell of rain continues in Madhya Pradesh. Rain occurred in many districts of the state on Monday as well. Betul received the highest rainfall of 42 mm i.e., 1.7 inches. Khajuraho received one and a quarter inch rainfall. Rain was also recorded in Balaghat's Malajkhand, Narmadapuram, Indore, Khandwa, Khargone, Narmadapuram's Pachmarhi, Vidisha, Sehore and Ujjain.

Heavy rain also occurred in Bhopal. The water level in Upper Lake reached 1658.80 feet. On Monday, there was good rain in the catchment area and Sehore district. Due to this, water also came into the Kolans river. Due to which the water level of Bada Talab increased. The full tank level of Bada Talab is 1666.80 feet. That is, it is still 8 feet empty. Here, the water level has also increased in Kaliyasot and Kerwa Dam.

In Gwalior, a woman was swept away in the flow of Vaishali  (Baishali) river. Babita Sharma (42) of Sirsaud village of Hastinapur area was going to the temple by crossing the river on Monday morning. After 2 hours, her body was found near the stop dam 1 km away. According to the villagers, there is another way to go to the temple.

The way to cross the river is short. Usually there is less water in the river. Even in the morning, there was not much water, but when Babita reached the middle of the river, the water increased and she could not control herself.

Ramniwas Rawat, MLA from Vijaypur assembly of Sheopur district, reached Guna for the first time after becoming a cabinet minister. Here, in response to a question about the flood in many areas of Sheopur at the Circuit House, he said that it is a good thing that water rained. It just rained a little more. There was no flood anywhere.

Heavy rain alert in these districts including Bhopal

There is an alert of heavy rain with lightning in Vidisha, Raisen's Bhimbetka and Sanchi, Rajgarh, Agar-Malwa, Sehore, Narmadapuram's Pachmarhi, Ratlam's Dharwad, Ujjain, Dewas, Alirajpur, Dhar's Mandu and Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

There is also a possibility of lightning with light thunder in Bhopal, Harda, Betul, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Shajapur, Khargone's Maheshwar, Khandwa's Omkareshwar, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Morena, Guna, Maihar, Rewa, Mauganj, Shahdol, Singrauli, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur's Khajuraho, Narsinghpur, Burhanpur, Gwalior, Ashoknagar, Bhind, Satna, Sidhi, Anuppur's Amarkantak, Umaria, South Shahdol.
