Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that the Constitution of our country is the holy book. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that by organising Padyatra on Constitution Day today in the entire country, he has inspired all of us that today we are living as free Indians in democracy. Minister Sarang was addressing the programme on the occasion of the launch of the Constitution Day Padyatra at Shaurya Smarak.
Resolution to build a powerful India
Sarang said that after years of slavery, we have got independence after the sacrifice of thousands of revolutionaries. Under which system will the work be done after independence. There was deep contemplation on what our constitution, rules and regulations would be and the constitution was made in the Constituent Assembly under the leadership of Baba Saheb. Sarang expressed gratitude and paid respects to Baba Saheb and said that he made the Constitution of the largest democracy. On this day in the year 1949, this Constitution was prepared and implemented on 26 January 1950. Today we all are joining the padayatra with the resolution to make independent India a powerful India by integrating the constitutional sentiments as a pledge. This Shaurya Smarak is a symbol of the martyrdom of the brave warrior.
Imbibe the thoughts of Baba Saheb
Sarang asked to imbibe the thoughts of Baba Saheb. He paid tribute to the revolutionaries, who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country. The Minister appealed to the youth that they will live for Mother India with full dedication and will be ready when needed. This India should once again be established as a world leader. This is our duty and resolution.
Message of Chief Minister
The recorded message of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also played in the programme. Along with this, the Preamble of the Constitution and the National Anthem were also read out. Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minorities (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur, MLA Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani also attended the programme. At the beginning of the programme, the guests lit the lamp and paid floral tribute to the pictures of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Bharat Mata and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Constitution Day Padyatra began by paying homage to the replica of the Constitution. The Constitution Day Padyatra started from the Shaurya Smarak and concluded with parikrama of the statue of Ambedkar ji at the Board Office Square and garlanding it with salutation and returning to the Shaurya Smarak.
These were the centres of attraction
The replica of the Constitution of the country accompanied the Padyatra in the vehicle. The Padyatra kept moving forward to the tune of the police band. School children also participated in the Padyatra, showing a glimpse of culture in traditional attire. Players Kapil Parmar, Aishwarya Pratap Singh, Arshi Chaukse, Sakshi Bhardwaj, mountaineer Bhagwan Singh, Jyoti Ratre also participated in this grand event. When the padyatra started, it was stopped and an ambulance was given priority. Flowers were showered at various places during the padyatra. The padyatra was carried out in full discipline with the chants of Vande Mataram, Hamara Samvidhan- Hamari Shaan, Bharat Mata ke Jaikar.
