Congress SC wing protest at CM House, police stop using water cannons

Massive protest was staged by Madhya Pradesh Congress Scheduled Caste Wing  against the incidents happening with the Dalit class in Madhya Pradesh.

Police stopped the Congress workers  in front of Arera Hills Police Station  where they were going to the CM House in Bhopal. Police instructed them to return, but the workers remained adamant on their stand. Police removed the protesters by using water cannons.

Earlier in the general meeting, State Congress President Jeetu Patwari said, every Congressman and citizen of the country has to take an oath to protect it. Stand up, raise your hands and take an oath. Until the caste census is done in the state and the country, every colleague of the state and follower of our Baba Saheb Ambedkar, will not remain in peace.

Jitu Patwari said, the post of Chief Minister has a culture. His language has credibility. The language of the Chief Minister has become like that of goons a small-time local leader.

Patwari said that this fight is not a small one. Rahul Gandhi has vowed to protect the Constitution. Which talks about protecting reservation, caste census. Whoever has more shares, his participation will be more.

Former minister PC Sharma said, people of Dalit class are being discriminated against and treated unjustly. Rahul Gandhi has talked about caste count. It should be known how many people belong to which class, so that they can get its benefit.

State President of Congress Scheduled Caste Department Pradeep Ahirwar said that more than two thousand workers from the entire state have come to join this siege. Be it Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe class, a lot of atrocities are being committed on them in the entire state. The land allotted to these classes in Digvijay Singh's government is still occupied by the goons. Our reservation is also in danger. We are protesting on all these issues.

Pradeep Ahirwar said, Dalits are killed after stripping them, Dalit daughters die under suspicious circumstances. In Ashoknagar, a woman from Scheduled Caste is killed by entering her house. In Sagar, BJP is building a temple of Sant Ravidas ji at a cost of      Rs 100 crores, the entire country knows how people from the same class are killed. Madhya Pradesh has become a state of hell under Mohan Yadav's government. When Congress fights for Dalits and demands a CBI inquiry, BJP said that Congress is doing politics.

In-charge of Congress departments and cells JP Dhanopia, said, Dalits, Adivasis and deprived classes are being oppressed in Madhya Pradesh. The incident of Barodiya Nonagir in Sagar is in front of everyone. Recently, a person was shot dead in public in Singrauli. They kill by hanging in jail and claim that person died of suicide. There is no concern of Dalits, nor Adivasis nor backward classes in the state.
