Congress held protest march against NEET scam

Saturday, 22 June 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

As part of the Nationwide protest of Congress against corruption in NEET exam, a protest march and demonstration was called from Shahid Chowk to Raj Bhavan under the aegis of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) in the State Capital on Friday.

In the protest march hundreds of Congress workers and leaders participated. The protest march reached Raj Bhavan via Shahid Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Kachhari Chowk, where a meeting was organized.

Addressing the meeting, JPCC Chief, Rajesh Thakur said that in the last five years, the paper has been leaked in 43 recruitment exams in the country. “India is the youngest Country in the world. The BJP Government at the Center is making these youth weak instead of making them skilled and capable. Crores of promising students are working hard day and night. Parents are making their children study by cutting down on expenses and hope that vacancy will come, vacancy comes and it becomes a victim of corruption,” he added.

Thakur said that BJP is repeatedly claiming that Narendra Modi stopped the war between Russia and Ukraine but he is not able to stop the paper leak. “Vyapam scam happened in Madhya Pradesh, Narendra Modi and his Government are spreading this scam in the whole Country. The biggest reason for paper leak is that BJP has captured the whole system, so its strings are connected to BJP ruled States. Paper leak will continue till the system is not fixed. But Congress party will not let the future of students be tampered with. In the paper leak case, the Country's Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan should resign immediately and NEET exam should be cancelled. Prime Minister, Modi keeps discussing the exam but does not say anything about paper leak. Rahul Gandhi has completed the fight for justice by walking 11,000 km, he will keep fighting in future. He has called that we will take this movement to its conclusion,” he added.

The meeting was addressed by JPCC Executive President, Jaleshwar Mahato, Health Minister, Banna Gupta, Minister, Badal Patralekh, MLA, Pradeep Yadav, Ramchandra Singh and Dr Pradeep Balmuchu.
