College students to engage in cleaning

Taking a positive stride, students will clean for two hours every week in MP colleges, from September 18 to October 1, teams of students will clean college campuses, bus stands, railway station, squares, markets and other public places.

In this, teams of students will reach to give the message of cleanliness by cleaning rivers, ponds, lakes etc.

Students will clean for two hours every week in MP colleges, Higher Education Department gave guidelines to run Swachhta Abhiyan.

Swachhta Abhiyan will be run in all the schools of the state. Students will taking cleaning campaign themselves for a hundred hours in a year.

Swachhta Abhiyan will be run in the colleges of the state. For this, students will clean for two hours every week. This campaign will be run till October 2. In this, students will have to clean the college campus as well as public places.

Under the Swachhta Pakhwada (Cleanliness Week), students will not only clean for 100 hours in a year, but they will also form a chain in which they will connect 100 people and request to connect with further 100 people encouraging them to take cleanliness measures in their surroundings.

The Higher Education Department has issued guidelines in which on September 17, students will be administered the oath to clean for two hours every week.

Then the students will administer the oath to 100 other people and will motivate them to also inspire 100 other people to clean. This time the department has emphasized on connecting every student to this. For this, different programs of 15 days have been decided.

In this, the students will take an oath that they will be alert for cleanliness, and will give time. Every year, I will devote two hours a week to cleaning. I will also administer an oath to 100 other people to donate 100 hours of labour, neither will I create dirt nor will I let anyone do so. I will promote the Swachh Bharat Mission in every village, every street.

There will be workshops, rallies, discussions, seminars, lectures, paintings, quizzes, poetry recitation competitions on the subject of cleanliness in colleges. Students will be administered the oath of cleanliness in these.
