Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, substantial efforts are being made both nationally and in Madhya Pradesh to advance women's empowerment.

He noted that women now enjoy 50 percent reservation in local body elections, with a further 33 percent reservation in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, as decided by Prime Minister Modi. On Saturday, from Vijaypur in Sheopur district. Dr. Yadav seamlessly transferred Rs 1,897 crore to the accounts of 1.29 crore Ladli Behana across the state. This amount includes a special Rs 250 gift from the Chief Minister to his "beloved sisters" for Raksha Bandhan, alongside the Rs 1,250 provided through the Ladli Bahana Yojana. Additionally, Rs 52 crore in grants was allocated under the Ujjwala scheme, and Rs 10,300 crore in loans was distributed to women in Self Help Groups for various self-employment ventures. These initiatives are empowering women to set new records and achieve self-reliance through diverse product manufacturing.

Today, Vijaypur hosted a grand assembly of women, dubbed the 'Kumbh of Sisters,' with celebrations occurring simultaneously at 25 thousand locations across the state. The large turnout at the conference serves as a powerful testament to the success of these empowerment efforts.

During the event, he performed the bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated 158 projects valued at Rs 344 crore. Additionally, various benefits under schemes were distributed to women. Yadav expressed that mothers and sisters are the pride, joy, and dignity of every home. He emphasized the unique bond of Rakhi, describing it as the most profound of all relationships. Referring to Raksha Bandhan, he highlighted the special joy comes from celebrating it together. The CM said that today, the entire state of Madhya Pradesh is united in this celebration, it will be as if the entire state of Madhya Pradesh is adorned with a tilak, symbolizing honor and pride. This, he said, will elevate the spirit of the state with immense pride. Dr. Yadav also highlighted the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, encouraging everyone to participate and show their patriotism.

Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, both the country and Madhya Pradesh are progressing rapidly. He pointed out that the state's budget, which was once just 20,000 crores, has now grown to 3.5 lakh crores, and in the next five years, it is expected to reach 7 lakh crores.

He said that the Nadi Jodo Abhiyan, a campaign to link the Chambal, Kalisindh, and Parvati rivers, is underway in the region. This initiative will ensure a reliable supply of irrigation water, electricity, and water resources to the area. He announced that Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will soon jointly perform the bhoomi-pujan for new projects worth 70,000 crores. He urged the farmers of the region to safeguard their agricultural land, as the area is poised to surpass Punjab and Haryana in agricultural production in the coming years.
