In a significant move aimed at boosting local development and tourism, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Champai Soren, is scheduled to visit Ghatshila on June 23. The visit will be marked by a series of important events including the distribution of assets among beneficiaries of various government schemes, laying the foundation stones for new schemes, and inspecting the Burudih Dam with the objective of promoting it as a tourist destination.
The Chief Minister will preside over a program organized at the Tamra Pratibha Manch Ground. During this event, assets will be distributed to the beneficiaries of several government schemes. This initiative aims to directly benefit the local populace by providing them with the resources and support necessary for their socio-economic development. In anticipation of the Chief Minister's visit, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal have been actively involved in briefing the deputed magistrates and police officers. Detailed guidelines regarding security and law and order maintenance have been issued. Both officials, along with other senior officers, conducted thorough inspections of the program sites, including Maubhandaar, Pavada, and Burudih Dam.
During the site inspections, officials reviewed the arrangements for cleanliness, seating, drinking water, toilet facilities, medical assistance, ambulance service, and necessary barricading. Instructions were given to ensure that there is no negligence in maintaining security and law and order. The presence of local MLA Ramdas Soren during these inspections underscores the importance of the event and the collaborative efforts to ensure its success.
