Principal Secretary, Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Ajay Kumar Singh met Chief Minister Hemant Soren today in the Jharkhand Ministry and apprised the Chief Minister of the proposed action plan related to the redevelopment and expansion of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Ranchi (Redevelopment and Augmentation of RIMS Ranchi). Renovation of old OPD, IPD & Academic Block, New Residence Bungalows for Director, MS, Addl. Director & Dean, New Forensic Medicine Dept.
Detailed discussions were held on Building, Construction of New OPD Block, Covered Pathways, Drainage Supply, Boundary Wall & Gates, Electrical Work, Proposed Works, Road Development etc.
The Chief Minister took point-wise information of the action plan and also gave many important guidelines to the departmental Principal Secretary. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Avinash Kumar was present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, the CM has given his approval to the proposal for granting administrative approval of a total of Rs 1503.62 lakh (fifteen crore three lakh sixty two thousand rupees) for the development of sites located near Rankini Temple, Jadugoda under the "Tree Plantation and Land Conservation on Notified Forest Land" Scheme (Tribal Area Sub-Plan) to be implemented from the financial year 2024-25 to 2025-26 and the draft document for the related scheme authorized committee.
