Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, paid a surprise visit to the home of Ladli Behna Asha Baurasi in Badipura Azadpur, Nagda. Overwhelmed with emotion, Asha Baurasi and Anita Baurasi were filled with immense joy as they welcomed their brother, the Chief Minister, at their doorstep. With tears of happiness in their eyes, the Behnas greeted Dr. Yadav by showering him with flowers and tying the sacred Raksha Sutra, offering their heartfelt blessings.
Chief Minister Yadav, during his visit distributed gifts to the sisters and took the opportunity to inquire about the amount they had received under the Ladli Behna scheme. The sisters joyfully shared that, in addition to the usual Rs 1,250, an extra Rs 250 had been credited to their accounts as a special Raksha Bandhan gift. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for this thoughtful gesture.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited sister Leelabai, got the Raksha Sutra tied, and presented her with a gift. The Chief Minister also lifted and patted 8-month-old baby Yash at Leelabai’s residence.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Nagda today to participate in the Rakshabandhan celebrations. Upon his arrival, the sisters from the Badipura-Azadpur area greeted him with a warm welcome, showering him with flowers and tying Rakhis. At the heartfelt request of the Behnas, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited them personally and joined in the Rakhi ritual, even taking selfies with them to capture the special moment. The event was also attended by MP Anil Firojia, MLA Nagda Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Bahadur Singh Bormundla, along with other public representatives and nearby residents.
It may be noted that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has been celebrating the Rakshabandhan festival collectively with his sisters for many years. He has kept this tradition alive even after becoming the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has dedicated the month of Sawan in the name of sisters.
Along with the Rakhi celebration on a large scale across the state, he also transferred an amount of Rs 250 as Shagun in addition to the amount of Rs 1250 given per month to the accounts of the Ladli Behnas.
