Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was warmly celebrated by the Ladli sisters of Gwalior, who adorned him with Roli-Chandan on his forehead and lovingly tied rakhis around his wrists. The sisters wished him a long and prosperous life. In return, Chief Minister Yadav presented gifts to each of them and assured them of the state government's unwavering support in both their joys and sorrows. He emphasized that the government is committed to tirelessly working towards the empowerment of women across the state, which greatly pleased the sisters. Yadav arrived in Gwalior on Saturday, where he was greeted at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport Maharajpura with rakhis from Gwalior's Ladli sisters.
On this occasion, Ladli Behnas also tied rakhis to several dignitaries, including Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla and MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha. In gratitude, all the public representatives presented gifts to the sisters, honoring their heartfelt gesture.
On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Manoj Khatri, Inspector General of Police Arvind Saxena, Collector Smt Ruchika Chauhan, Superintendent of Police Dharamvir Singh, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Vivek Kumar Vinod Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Harish Mewafrosh, Anil Sankhla along with public representatives were present.
In the holy month of Sawan, 10 beneficiary sisters of Ladli Bahana Yojana of Gwalior district reached the airport to tie rakhis to Chief Minister Yadav. These included Hemlata Jain, Kalpana Rathore, Shashi Mahaur, Smt. Shobha Tomar, Poonam Kushwaha, Poonam Parihar, Babita Srivastava, Sadhana Rathore, Krishna Batham and Kusum Tomar.
