Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that it is a happy coincidence that on the occasion of Gita Jayanti, Jan Kalyan Parv and Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan is being launched in the state. Bhoomi pujan and dedication of many development works will take place in the Jan Kalyan Parv, which will run from December 11 to 26.
Under the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan, from today to January 26, 2025, a door-to-door survey will be conducted to ensure that the benefits of 34 beneficiary-oriented schemes, 11 target-based schemes, and 63 services are provided to the poor, youth, farmers, and women by providing new opportunities. Every eligible person will be linked to public welfare schemes through the campaign.
On the inauguration of the Jan Kalyan Parv, Rs 1,572 crore was transferred to the accounts of 1 crore 28 lakh Ladli Behnas of the state, and Rs 350 crore for gas cylinder refilling was also transferred to their accounts. In the Social Security Pension Scheme also, Rs 334.38 crore was transferred to the accounts of 55 lakh beneficiaries with a single click.
Chief Minister Yadav extended his best wishes to the Behnas for the Jan Kalyan Parv and Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan and transfer of funds. On the occasion of Gita Jayanti, Yadav also greeted the Acharyas and Batuks who made the world record of reciting Gita.
On completion of one-year tenure of the state government, Chief Minister Yadav inaugurated the state-wide Jan Kalyan Parv and Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan by lighting the lamp from Lal Parade Ground. He also showered flowers on the sants. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora, Micro Small and Medium Minister Chaitanya Kashyap, Culture and Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Minister (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang, Hitanand Sharma, Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani, Mayor Malti Rai, MLA Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi, Sumit Pachauri, other public representatives and a large number of devotees were present.
Yadav said that people of all countries are eager to get life lessons and guidance from Shrimad Bhagwad Gita. Google search engine shows that the maximum curiosity in the world is regarding Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. Among all the religious texts of the world, Gita is the only text that gives the message of the path of action, path of devotion, and peace.
