Thursday, 27 June 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Our government is working with the thought and commitment to move Jharkhand forward at a fast pace on every front of development. In the last four and a half years, amidst all the adverse circumstances and challenges, our government has been doing the work of grooming the state and giving it a new direction. Today, the government's schemes are reaching the last person of the society” said. Chief Minister Champai Soren while addressing the inauguration, foundation stone laying and asset distribution ceremony among the beneficiaries of various schemes in Dhanbad today.

The Chief Minister said that the people here will get the gift of a new health scheme next month. Under this scheme, people deprived of Ayushman card will get free treatment facility up to Rs 15 lakh. People will be able to take advantage of this health scheme only on the basis of ration card.

The Chief Minister said that in the next three months, 40 thousand youth will have government jobs in the state. For this, the concerned commission has been instructed to complete the appointment process. A campaign will be run to provide jobs to local youth in private sector companies. He said that the youth who are interested in self-employment are being given financial help under the Chief Minister's Employment Generation Scheme.

The Chief Minister said that for the all-round development of the state, it is necessary for every link of the system to be strong. Our government is strengthening the economic-social system here. We are improving education and health facilities. Work is being done to connect the youth with employment. Our government is trying to take forward every class and section including tribals, natives, farmers, laborers, poor, women, elderly, disabled, backward and minorities, so that the state can get a new direction with the participation of all these.

The CM said that our government is making schemes in accordance with the sentiments and expectations of the public. There is no discrimination in giving benefits of the schemes. The interests of every person are taken care of. He said that through the program "Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar" we came to know your problems and along with solving them, we came among you with such schemes, due to which the people here are getting empowered.

The CM stressed that today there is no family in the state where some or the other scheme of the government has not reached. Today pension and ration are reaching every family. Many schemes are being run to empower the farmers. Loans up to two lakh rupees of farmers will also be waived off. The state government has decided to give 200 units of electricity free of cost so that the houses of the poor living in the far-flung areas of the state and in the jungles and foothills of rivers and plateaus also remain illuminated. Now the government is going to provide financial assistance to sisters and daughters above 25 years and below 50 years of age. There are many more such schemes which have been started to bring the people sitting on the margins of the society into the mainstream.

The CM said that Jharkhand is a state where displacement still remains a big challenge. Here, in the name of various projects and mining operations, the land of tribals and natives was acquired on a large scale, but the peasants could not get proper benefits from it. Even today the displaced are facing many problems. Our government will soon formulate a policy for the welfare and interest of the displaced people so that they can get their rights.

The CM said that the government is committed to improving the education system of the state. Model schools are being opened in the blocks, where children will get quality education on the lines of private schools. Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana is being run with a threefold increase in the scholarship amount so that no child is deprived of education due to lack of money. Guruji Credit Card Scheme has been started so that financial constraints do not become an obstacle in obtaining higher education. The government is bearing the full expenses of studying abroad for the children of tribal, Dalit, minority and backward classes here. Poor children here are being given financial assistance for coaching and studies so that they become engineers, doctors and officers.
