CM fiat to take strict steps to control crime in State

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today held a high-level meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister's Residential Office regarding law and order, implementation of new welfare schemes, Jharkhand Police and Jharkhand Excise Constable Competition Examination and other ongoing recruitment processes. The Chief Minister reviewed important topics and gave many important instructions to the officials.

The Chief Minister said that maintaining law and order in the state is the top priority of the state government. To maintain a fear-free environment in the entire state, take all concrete steps to control crime and criminals. He said that identify the criminals involved in criminal cases and take strict action against them. No laxity will be tolerated in the direction of crime control. The Chief Minister directed to keep the security arrangements tight during the upcoming festivals. He said that during festivals, make special arrangements for monitoring such anti-social elements who try to conspire to spread unrest.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is going to start many new welfare schemes. This also includes an important scheme to provide financial assistance to women between 21 and 50 years of age. He said that all the processes of starting this scheme and selection of beneficiaries should be completed without delay, so that one more step can be taken towards empowering the women of this state. He asked the officials to work in mission mode to take the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government to the last person of the society. The result of these welfare schemes should be visible. The schemes of our government are to take the people here forward as well as to speed up the development of the state.

The Chief Minister took complete information about the ongoing process of Jharkhand Constable Competition Examination-2023 and Jharkhand Excise Constable Competition Examination-2023 in the meeting. He said that the appointment process of constable and excise constable should be completed as soon as possible. The Chief Minister said that complete transparency and confidentiality should be maintained in these appointments. Ensure that there is no irregularity and disturbance in this.

The Chief Minister said that the concerned officials were instructed to bring uniformity in the appointment process of uniform services like police, home guard, forest and excise. He said that it is very important to speed up the appointment process of uniform services. This will also help the youth to prepare for the competitive examinations of Uniform Services.

Chief Secretary L Khiangte, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary Vandana Dadel, Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh, ADG RK Malik, ADG Suman Gupta, Secretary Manoj Kumar, IG Prabhat Kumar and IG Pankaj Kamboj were present in this meeting.
