CM expresses grief

Thursday, 30 May 2024 | SR | Bhopal

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav today, expressed grief over the Barodia Nonagir incident and said that we will endeavour to ensure that such incidents do not happen. The state government stands with the victim’s family.

With such incidents being a regular affair, a police post will be opened here. While ensuring police management in the area, elders will also be taken into confidence. The loss of life and property is a matter of concern. I am with the bereaved family in this hour of immense grief. An impartial investigation is being conducted into the incident. Such a tragic incident should not be politicized.

Yadav said that financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh 25 thousand will be provided to the family of deceased Late Rajendra Ahirwar. On the basis of post mortem report, half the amount of Rs 4 lakh 12,500 will be deposited in the bank account. The remaining half amount will be given on presentation of the challan.

Yadav visited Barodia Nonagir of Khurai tehsil of Sagar district to console Ahirwar family in which Rajendra Ahirwar and his niece Anjana Ahirwar were killed in the incident. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the house of Pappu Rajak and met his family.
