CM called on by 2023 batch IAS probationers

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that newly appointed officers of the Indian Administrative Service are eager to make substantial contributions to public welfare. They are committed to engaging at the grassroots level and studying governmental operations. Significant transformations have been observed in revenue administration in Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, studying successful initiatives such as river revitalization, water source restoration, the 'School Chalen Hum Abhiyan', and other impactful campaigns early in their tenure will equip administrative officers to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing with 9 probationary officers of the Indian Administrative Service year 2023 batch who came to the Mantralaya to pay a courtesy visit on Friday. CM Dr. Yadav congratulated and wished all the probationer officers. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister's Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Director General of Administration Academy Shri Vinod Kumar along with Director, Administration Academy Smt. Sonali Ponkshe Vayangankar were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted that significant advancements have been made in the Revenue Department, with many processes now conducted online. The decentralization of records previously managed solely by the Patwari has empowered citizens by reducing dependence on individuals. Reforms in procedures related to Girdawari and other revenue activities have been implemented to enhance public convenience, marking a revolutionary shift. Recently, probationary officers observed the preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections at district, tehsil, and village levels, gaining crucial insights into the arrangements.

On behalf of the probationary officers, Sushri Kajol Singh Assistant Collector Chhatarpur, Shri Shubham Yadav Assistant Collector Narsinghpur, Shri Wasim Ahmed Bhat Assistant Collector Dhar, Shri Prapanj R Assistant Collector Rewa shared their experiences. Other officers who paid the visit included Shri Gagan Singh Assistant Collector Ujjain, Shri Mahipal Singh Gurjar Assistant Collector Anuppur, Shri Shivam Yadav Assistant Collector Shajapur, Shri Akip Khan Assistant Collector Mandla and Shri Pankaj Verma Assistant Collector Mandla. The above officers are undergoing training in various districts of Madhya Pradesh since April 15 after receiving 22 weeks of training at Lal Bahadur Shastri Administration Academy, Mussoorie. The training session going on from June 10 at RCVP Administration Academy Bhopal will continue till August 23. These probationary officers will also have departmental examinations and they will also make courtesy visits to prominent people of the state. These officers of the Indian Administrative Service include a total of 6 officers from Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala. Apart from this, 9 officers including 3 officers from Madhya Pradesh have got Madhya Pradesh cadre.
