CM asks officials to accelerate implementation of schemes

Chief Minister Champai Soren today held a high-level review meeting of flagship schemes, policies and programs run by various departments. On this occasion, he took information about the progress of various schemes and gave many instructions to the officials. In this meeting held with the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary of the departments, he asked to speed up the schemes so that the people of the state can get full benefit of it.

The CM said that they have an important role in accelerating the pace of development. In such a situation, all the departments should take special care that the schemes are completed within the stipulated time frame. The CM said that it is our top priority to reach the schemes of the government to the people sitting in the last row of the society.

Reviewing the Rural Development Department the CM said that under Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, there should be complete arrangement for planting of saplings along with its maintenance and conservation. Under Birsa Irrigation Well Promotion Scheme, complete the construction of one lakh wells by the first of November this year. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, the construction of incomplete and pending houses should be completed as soon as possible. Involve the Sakhi Mandals associated with JSLPS and the women associated with it in various schemes by mobilizing them.

For School Education and Literacy Department he instructed to start tribal language education in all government schools of the state soon. Giving priority to local tribal languages, ensure that tribal language education is made available to students studying in schools. Tribal language- Appoint expert teachers of all tribal languages including Santali, Ho, Kurukh, Kharia, Mundari soon.

Reviewing the Higher and Technical Education Department  the CM said that the portal of Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme will be active from June 20. Under this scheme, students will be given education loan up to Rs 15 lakh. In such a situation, ensure its promotion so that maximum number of students can take advantage of this scheme. Along with this, more than nine thousand students have applied for education loan, complete the process of giving them education loan as soon as possible.

Reviewing the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department he said that under the PM-ABHIM scheme, complete the construction of all health centers by November this year. OPD and investigation facilities should be available in the same building of all level government hospitals. All medicines should also be available here. Complete care should be taken of cleanliness in the hospital premises. Doctors and health workers should be present in the hospital regularly. Tree plantation should be done in the hospital premises.

For the Labor Employment Training and Skill Development Department he asked to ensure that the laws made by the government to provide employment to the local youth of the state in various private industries and companies located in Jharkhand are followed at all costs. Run it as a campaign so that the maximum number of local and indigenous people can get employment in their own state. Complete the process of setting up skill centers at the block level under the Birsa Yojana. Ensure that land is made available for building ESIC hospitals in Bokaro and Deoghar.

Reviewing the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language the CM said that the government is committed to speed up the appointment process. In such a situation, JPSC and JSSC should complete the appointment process for various posts as soon as possible. Remove any discrepancy in issuing caste certificates. Make it simple. Ensure that caste certificates are given to the applicants on time. Applications related to caste certificates should not remain pending.

On Agriculture Department he said that at present, loans of up to Rs 50,000 of farmers are being waived off, but now it has to be increased to Rs 2 lakh, so complete its policy process soon. Cover as many farmers as possible with KCC. Farmers who repay the loan on time will get an interest free loan, ensuring its publicity. Seed distribution should be done by the last week of June or the first week of July.
