Chief Minister Hemant Soren met the family members of late Havildar Chauhan Hembrom of the Hazaribagh district force at his residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi, today.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that a member of late Havildar Chauhan Hembrom’s family would be given a government job. The Chief Minister assured the family that the process for appointment in either Class 3 or Class 4 positions on compassionate grounds would be completed soon, and directives have already been issued to the officials for this purpose.
Chief Minister expressed deep condolences to Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram's wife Jomoti Devi, son Mahesh Hembram and daughter Swati Hembram and other family members. Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured the family members of Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram that they will get justice in every situation. The Chief Minister told the family members that the state government has given strict instructions to senior police officers including DGP to arrest the culprit as soon as possible and get the harshest punishment so that such incident does not happen again in future.
Consoling the family members of Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram, the Chief Minister said that the state government is always standing with you in this hour of grief. The Chief Minister assured the family members of all possible help from the state government. MLA Kalpana Soren also expressed condolences to the family members of Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram and consoled them. Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram's dependent will get job on compassionate grounds.

The Chief Minister told the family that soon all the procedures for appointment in class 3 or 4 on compassionate grounds will be completed, instructions have been given to the officers for this purpose. The dependent family will be given about Rs 1 crore 29 lakh by the state government
The amount payable is as follows - Rs 60 lakh compensation payment in the light of Resolution No. 4179 / dated 09.07.24 of Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department, Rs 50 lakh benefit of police salary package made through SBI, amount of gratuity 11 lakh 25 thousand rupees, earned leave salary 5 lakh 62 thousand 500 rupees, provident fund amount 1 lakh, group insurance amount 37 thousand rupees, necessary financial assistance from charitable fund 30 thousand rupees and family pension 9 thousand rupees.
It is known that Chauhan Hembram, resident of village-Pindatad, police station-Taratand of Giridih district, who was working as a Havildar in Hazaribagh District Force, was brutally murdered by a criminal on 12 August 2024 during duty.
