Honble. CM Dr Mohan Yadav’s one year in office has set an extremely positive tone of governance with his prompt decision-making for the greater common good. His profounder commitment to inclusive development is demonstrative in all his initiatives. Beyond question, eventful one year as Chief Minister remains full of achievements.
In a year of transformative decisions, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has made his vision clear. His focus is on pro-people governance, economic development and employment generation.
His 365 days in office have been full of commendable achievements. Dr Yadav emerges as a leader of commitment and determination, who cares every section of the society and responds promptly to the needy.
A Humanitarian Leader
CM’s sensitivity towards the working class deserves special mention. For decades, the laborers of Indore's iconic Hukumchand Mill were denied their rightful dues. Despite repeated attempts to bring justice to them. This long-standing issue was ultimately unresolved. However, on my humble request, the Honorable CM took cognizance of the whole matter. He finally brought justice to 4,800 workers , ensuring them their rightful entitlements. This reflects his deep empathy and unwavering commitment to the upliftment of the underprivileged.
Top Priority – Job Creation
In the present time, employment is an urgent need. Hon. Dr. Yadav has taken proactive steps to create job opportunities for the youth. Realizing the potential impact of the Bangaluru water crisis for industries, he acted swiftly to attract businesses to the state, offering them streamlined, one-stop solutions. A Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain brought substantial investment commitments and set the stage for similar initiatives across the state. Additionally, the creation of over 46,000 new positions in the health sector underscores his focus on addressing employment challenges . He is now planning to open massive recruitments in Government sector.
PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva - Affordable for All
One of the CM’s standout initiatives is the launch of PM Shri Paryantan Vayu Seva, which has improved air connectivity across smaller cities in Madhya Pradesh. This enables people to travel affordably between cities like Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Khajuraho Singrauli, and Rewa. It is a significant step towards integrating the state’s urban centers and boosting regional mobility.
PM Shri Ambulance Seva – A Life-Saving Service
Hon. Dr. Yadav’s compassion extends to healthcare, where his government introduced a free air ambulance service for critically ill patients. This service, available free of cost to Ayushman Bharat cardholders, ensures that even the most remote corners of Madhya Pradesh have access to advanced medical care. By bridging the gap between rural areas and specialized hospitals across the country, this initiative has saved countless lives and provided immense relief to needy families.
Futuristic Approach to Infrastructure Building
HCM’s vision for development is epitomized by the approval of the ambitious Ken-Betwa River Linking Project. Touted as the world’s largest river-linking initiative, this project promises to address water scarcity, boost agriculture, and energize the state’s economy. It is a testament to his ability to think big and execute larger-than-life projects that benefit generations to come.
Economic Milestones
Under Hon. Dr. Yadav’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh has recorded an impressive surge in growth in GST collections, reflecting the state’s expanding economic activity. Furthermore in just 365 days, his administration managed to reduce the state’s debt burden by over 2%, showcasing sound fiscal management. These achievements underline his commitment to steering Madhya Pradesh towards sustained economic prosperity. The recent visit to UK and Germany was a tremendous success. Madhya Pradesh got investment proposals worth Rs 78 thousand crore.
A Pioneer of Technological Advancement
The Chief Minister’s first cabinet meeting set the tone for a tech-savvy governance model. The implementation of Cyber Tehsil across the state has revolutionized property registrations by enabling instant transfer of ownership. Entire revenue governance system got overhauled. This bold step has not only streamlined administrative processes but also redefined efficiency and transparency in governance, making Madhya Pradesh a leader in e-governance.
A People-First Approach
Hon. Dr. Mohan Yadav’s governance is characterized by his ability to prioritize the needs of the common people while balancing the demands of speedy development. His emphasis on labour welfare, youth employment, infrastructure development, and technological advancement makes him a champion of people-focused leadership.
As the Mayor of Indore, I have personally witnessed his commitment to our city and state. His empathetic approach, decisive actions, and bold initiatives have laid the foundation for a brighter, more prosperous Madhya Pradeslh. With leaders like Hon. Dr. Mohan Yadav at the helm, the state is not only progressing but is also setting benchmarks for the entire nation.
As we fairly examine and analyse impactful one year, let us celebrate commitment of a leader who has dedicated himself to the service of the people, moulding challenges into opportunities and aspirations into achievements.
