The direct recruitment exam for 161 Chowkidar posts in Bokaro district was conducted in a strict, fair environment on Sunday. The examination commenced at 11 AM, with candidates gathering outside the exam centers as early as 9 AM. A total of 3,620 candidates appeared for the exam, while 306 candidates were absent. The process was closely monitored by invigilators to ensure it remained malpractice-free.
In a remarkable show of commitment to transparency, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vijaya Jadhav and Superintendent of Police (SP) Pujya Prakash personally oversaw the evaluation of the answer sheets. This evaluation took place at the district collectorate auditorium, where they were joined by Deputy Development Commissioner Girja Shankar Prasad, Additional Collector Md. Mumtaz Ansari, and other senior officials. A team of appointed teachers was responsible for the assessment of the answer sheets, which was ongoing at the time of reporting.
The recruitment exam was held across five centers in the district, including B.S. City College Bokaro, Chas College Chas, Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus Kandra, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Sector 6 Bokaro, and MGM Higher Secondary School Sector 4F Bokaro.
This meticulous process aimed to ensure a transparent and smooth recruitment for the Chowkidar posts in Bokaro district.
