Aspiring cricketer and class 12 student died in the morning while undergoing treatment who was injured on his way to school with his elder sister on Tuesday morning after an speeding auto rickshaw hit their scooter in Chola Mandir area.
Police said that on Tuesday morning, a speeding auto rickshaw hit a brother and sister going on a scooty in Chola Mandir area. The brother died during treatment on Wednesday morning, the seriously injured sister is undergoing treatment in the hospital, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.
According to the police, Nikhil Kushwaha (17) of Semra Gate Bajariya, was a class 12 student while his 24-year-old sister Rukmani worked in D Mart.
On Tuesday morning, the sister was going to drop her brother Nikhil to school on her scooty and on their way to school near Kalyan Nagar, a speeding auto rickshaw hit her scooty and fled.
As soon as the news of the accident was received, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured brother and sister to the hospital for treatment. On the basis of the number, the accused driver has been traced and taken into custody and was found drunk at the time of the accident.
Nikhil used to play cricket from an academy, he was a great all-rounder. He wanted to make a future in cricket. He had a dream of joining the national team, he was working very hard for this,said family.
