Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL/BSL) has introduced a new policy aimed at regularizing restricted trades in Bokaro Steel City, offering plot holders and shopkeepers an opportunity to operate more effectively while complying with updated township regulations.
The policy focuses on several restricted trades in commercial areas, including hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, hotels, restaurants, cinemas, fish and meat shops, and the storage or trade of inflammable materials and hazardous chemicals. Applications for trade changes will be reviewed by the TA-LRA (Town Administration-Land Revenue and Allotment), with final approval granted by the committee.
The policy aims to simplify business operations, creating a more structured environment for trade and fostering growth. By encouraging the regularization of trade activities, SAIL/BSL seeks to improve the overall market conditions in Bokaro.
AK Singh (GM/TA-LRA), a senior official at SAIL/BSL, emphasized that this new initiative will significantly enhance trade practices in the city, helping to simplify and streamline business processes. Around 300 cases are expected to benefit from this policy, providing local stakeholders with greater confidence and a stronger business environment.
Through this initiative, SAIL/BSL continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting regulated and efficient business practices, driving economic development in Bokaro in a well-organized and positive manner.
