The Summer Sports Training Camp - 2024, organized under the aegis of Sports and Civic Facilities Department of Bokaro Steel Plant, concluded today 03 June 2024. Birendra Kumar Tiwari, Director-in-charge of Bokaro Steel Plant was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony held at MKM Stadium. In closing ceremony, along with the chief guest, Executive Director (Finance and Accounts) Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (Personnel and Administration and works) Rajan Prasad, Chief General Manager (Personnel) Harimohan Jha, Chief General Manager (Town Administration) Kundan Kumar, General Manager (Town Services)AK Avinash, Assistant General Manager (Sports and Civic Facilities), S Rajak and other senior officials, trainers of various sports, children and parents were present.
Notably Summer Sports Training Camp- 2024 was started on 16th May 2024. In the camp, 674 children received training in 11 different sports from national, international and NIS trainers. These sports included athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, handball, kabaddi, khokho, volleyball, chess and archery. The chief guest presented certificates to the participating children in the closing ceremony.
