An interactive session on Service Contract Management was organized for Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) officials in the main auditorium of the Learning and Development Department. The session saw participation from BSL’s Director-in-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (HR & Operations) Rajan Prasad, and other senior officials.
The event began with DIC Tiwari leading a voter pledge, encouraging everyone to participate in the upcoming state elections on November 20. Bokaro District Disaster Management Officer Shakti Kumar also emphasized the importance of voter participation and urged officials to inspire others to vote.
Presentations were given by Chief General Manager (Projects) Naresh Kumar Behera, Deputy General Manager (Executive Director-Operations Secretariat) Anand Raj, and Senior Manager (CRM-3) R.K. Mahato, covering essential aspects of service contract management. Tiwari emphasized the evolving strategies needed to enhance contract management in today's environment, while Prasad highlighted areas for improvement in productivity and cost efficiency.
The session allowed officials to discuss contract management challenges and share improvement ideas, concluding with a vote of thanks by Neeta Ba( GM )
