Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) organized the Finance and Commercial Quiz 2024 on December 10 to enhance officers’ knowledge on cost management, financial statements, corporate finance, and budgeting. The event, held by the Human Resource Learning and Development Department, featured Chief Guest Sujay Kumar, Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts).
Eighteen teams from various BSL departments participated. The quiz was led by Quiz Masters Anurag Singhal (DGM, Finance & Accounts) and Nishant Kumar (Deputy Manager), under the guidance of Neeta Ba (GM, Learning & Development) and Amit Anand (AGM).
The Steel Refractory Unit’s team of Amarendra Kumar and Abhimanyu Kumar secured first place, followed by their colleagues Kashinath Gorai and Vipin Kumar in second. The Sinter Plant and SMS-II teams claimed third place.
Sujay Kumar praised the event’s value and encouraged more such initiatives. The success was credited to the Learning and Development team, including Rishikesh Ranjan, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, and S.C. Murmu.
