IIM-R concludes 5-Day FDP
The Five-Day Nurturing Future Leadership Programme, organized by the IIM Ranchi under the esteemed Malviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), successfully concluded on Friday. The programme, which began on November 25, 2024, has been a transformative experience for faculty members from public-funded higher educational institutions across India. The valedictory ceremony, held at IIM Ranchi, marked the culmination of an intensive five-day learning journey designed to enhance leadership capabilities among academic faculty. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director IIM Ranchi, who delivered the closing address. Prof. Srivastava highlighted the significance of continuous leadership development and the critical role of educational leaders in shaping the future of institutions. He also praised the participants for their dedication to strengthening leadership within their respective academic environments.
Salima Tete, Sangita Kumari felicitated
DRM cum President, South Eastern Railway Sports Association, Ranchi, Jasmeet Singh Bindra felicitated Captain Salima Tete and Sangeeta Kumari, who represented the recently concluded Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024 as the winning Indian team, by presenting them a plant and a memento here on Friday. Under the leadership of Ranchi Railway Division player and Indian Women's Hockey Team Captain Salima Tete, the Indian team won all its matches in the tournament and won the trophy by defeating China in the final. Two other players of Ranchi Railway Division, Nikki Pradhan and Sangeeta Kumari were also part of the Indian team and contributed as key players. Sr DCM cum DSO Nishant Kumar, DFO (Coordination) cum Treasurer SERSA, Laxman Kumar, DE (South) cum JDSO Ravi Shankar congratulated and wished both the players.
SBPS students shine in Invictus- 5th Edition of Speak Out
The students of SBPS, Ranchi stole the limelight with their outstanding performance in Invictus- 5th Edition of Speak Out-2024, an online speak-for-inner-change conclave for schools in South Asia and Middle East. It was an International competition in which more than 43 schools participated. Ananya Roy of Std. XI was accorded for best entry in Bridge Round of Plurilogues- Multi format English Debates. Rohini Raj of Std. XI was awarded the best student writer-performer trophy for Acropolis- English creative writing and performance competition. Krittika Sarkar of Std. IX and Rohini Raj of Std. XI were also awarded the overall second runner-up position in Notes from Acropolis.
