Durga Puja celebration at Cambrian Public School
Durga Puja is a festival of coordination of faith, culture, cooperation and power. This festival breaks the monotony of life and infuses enthusiasm and joy in it. Principal Dr. Neeta Pandey said these things in the program organized on the occasion of Durga Puja at Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road. She said that this festival gives the message of awakening the Satvik powers and mitigating taboos. The presentation of Navdurga Swaroop and Dhanuchi dance captivated the audience present. Vice Principal Premlata Kumari expressed her gratitude. The children presented the program under the direction of teachers Priyanka Chakraborty and Sudiksha Rai Chaudhary.
IDFC FIRST Bank Completes Merger with IDFC Limited
IDFC FIRST Bank announced the successful completion of its merger with IDFC Limited, effective October 1, 2024, following all necessary approvals. As part of the merger, shareholders of IDFC Limited will receive 155 equity shares of IDFC FIRST Bank for every 100 equity shares held, with shares expected to be credited by October 31, 2024. Key benefits include a simplified corporate and shareholding structure, ₹600 crores in cash inflow, reduced paid-up share capital, and the potential to pay dividends. The bank is now well-positioned to leverage growth opportunities in India. Speaking on the merger, MD & CEO Mr. Vaidyanathan said, "This merger is a landmark moment, simplifying our corporate structure and allowing us to build a perennial institution like global banking giants." IDFC FIRST Bank will now have a simplified corporate structure with no promoter holding.
