Awareness programme on cervical cancer at SITE

A public awareness program based on cervical cancer and its vaccine was organized in the college under the joint aegis of Ramjanm Sulakshana Pandey (Cancer) Hospital, Ranchi and ShashWat Institute of Teachers Education. Dr. Pallavi Pandey, Executive Director, Ramjanm Sulakshana Pandey (Cancer) Hospital, Ranchi and Rahul Gupta, Jharkhand in-charge of Serum Institute of India, participated as the keynote speaker of the program. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha presented a bouquet and a shawl to both the speakers. After this, Dr. Pallavi made everyone aware of the causes, prevention, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer. Rahul Gupta explained the necessary facts about how important vaccine is to prevent cervical cancer. All the trainees, assistant lecturers and members of the college management were satisfied with the informative presentation.

Rajbhasha Pakhwada at RDCIS and CET

Rajbhasha Pakhwada-2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at RDCIS and CET Ranchi. Various competitions were also held during the programme. The closing ceremony of Rajbhasha Pakhwada was held on 30-09-2024 under the guidance of S. K. Verma, Executive Director, CET and S. K. Kar, Executive Director, RDCIS.

SBPS Students observe Gandhi Jayanti

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi observed Gandhi Jayanti to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's principles of peace, non-violence and truth. A special assembly was organised which commenced with the school prayer followed by a soulful rendition of the song 'Vaishnav Jan'. Students also showcased a series of performances including a dance, recitation of poems and speeches articulating the importance of embracing Gandhi's principles in one's life. An art-integrated exhibition, Gandhi Darpan, was also organised by the Social Science department. The exhibits depicted various landmark incidents from Gandhiji’s life like Quit India Movement, Nayi Talim which is the foundation of National Education Policy, Dandi March, Ahmedabad Mill Strike of 1918, Kheda Movement, Tolstoy and Phoenix farms. There were live counter of nail art and tattoo corner as well.

SSS Foundation holds health check-up camp

NGO Sewa Shram Shakti Foundation, Okhla Phase - 1, organized a Free Health Check - Up camp for underprivileged women & girls and their families and helped them to understand their diet programs,  how to manage long our working stress, simple exercises for back, neck, full body and mind with the help of well-known Physician,  Physiotherapists and Physiologist. Founder Sudha Singh said that in future they will do such activities frequently to get our women power fit from body and calm mind. “We believe our Holistic approach will make their lives happier, after skill development we have started working for their health issues very seriously. Kairali School wins  Innovation Challenge  2024 

 

Dhanbad: The Jharkhand School Innovation Challenge (JH-SIC) 2024 concluded with an exciting Grand Finale at the Golden Jubilee Lecture Theatre (GJLT), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Monday night with Kairali School, Ranchi secured the winning title with their innovative project on Automatic Crop Monitoring and Irrigation System in the Senior Category. This system uses real-time data to optimize water usage in agriculture, promising greater efficiency and sustainability. The team won reward of Rs 50,000. In the Junior Category, the Mahendra Muni Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Madhupur team took home the top prize of Rs 25,000 with their project on Smart City Eliminate Waste Management and Air Pollution. The project focuses on using IoT and smart sensors to tackle waste management issues and reduce air pollution in urban areas.

 

BoI organises Coin Exchange Fair

Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi has called for Clean Currency Week from September 27 to October 3. Under this campaign, old notes are to be replaced with new coins. On Tuesday, Bank of India Shyamli branch organized a coin exchange fair in Doranda market and in Lohardaga district also, a fair was organized by Bank of India Lohardaga branch in Kisko market. The fair was inaugurated by regional manager Sanjeev Kumar Singh. On this occasion, branch manager Brijmohan Sanyasi, currency chest in-charge Rajiv Sinha, cashier Rakesh Tiwari, Pankaj Kumar and security officer Om Prakash were present.
