BoM celebrates its 90th Foundation Day

Bank of Maharashtra celebrated its 90th Foundation Day at Ranchi Zonal Office. On this proud occasion, Shikha Kumari Chaudhary, Zonal Manager, Rohit Raman, Deputy Zonal Manager, Senior Officers from Ranchi Zonal Office and Chief Guest Dean of Sarala Birla University, Hari Babu Shukla and customers from various branches of the bank were present. On this occasion, customers were felicitated and a detailed discussion was held on business growth.

OLIC meeting concluded in CCL

The quarterly meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee was concluded under the chairmanship of Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra in the auditorium of CCL, Darbhanga House, Ranchi on Tuesday. On this occasion GM (Personnel/Official Language) Sanjay Kumar Thakur, heads of various departments, General Managers and Official Language Nodal Officers along with representatives from the areas of CCL were present. While chairing the meeting, Mishra said that this is not only a meeting of Official Language, but is an important part of our work. He further said that Official Language implementation is very important. All departments should have a progressive approach in the implementation of Official Language. He asked the Official Language Department to cooperate with those departments which are facing difficulty in working in Hindi.

Bank employees hold protest

70,000 union bankers, members of IBV and IIV protested against the arbitrariness of the top bank management at the zonal, regional office, Union Bank of India, Ranchi and Dhanbad on Tuesday evening. The protest was held at all 134 regional offices and a protest was also held at the central office, Mumbai today. About 150 and 50 comrades of both the organizations participated in the dharna at the Ranchi zonal office. A list of 20 demands was also handed over to the regional heads of Ranchi and Dhanbad. The reason for today's dharna was that the management refused to accept the demands after holding talks at the central office in Mumbai on 17-18 September. Also, despite the instructions given to the management by the Central Labour Commissioner (CBC) New Delhi on September 19, the management refused to accept any genuine demand on September 23.

BNBV celebrates Hindi Diwas

Brajkishore Netraheen Balika Vidyalaya,Ranchi  led by  Director Neelu Verma , celebrated Hindi Diwas on 24th September 2024 at the school premises with the support of MECON Ltd Vishwajeet Kumar - General Manager Official Language Department, Dr. Chanda - Assistant Manager Official Language Department and  Vikram Singh Deputy manager were present on the occasion from MECON. Teachers of BNBV and XISS students as a part of their social service field work were also present. The event featured a range of cultural performances by the students, including dances, songs, skits and poems, all promoting the beauty of the Hindi language. Vishwajeet Kumar, GM, Official Language Department expressed his gratitude and praised the students for their inspiring performances, which reflected their resilience and talent. He also presented the students with certificates and school bags. School Director Neelu Verma encouraged the efforts of the students.
