On June 12, the Learning and Development Department's main auditorium at Bokaro Steel Plant hosted the "A New Journey Begins" program, aimed at guiding employees retiring in June 2024 through retirement formalities and the potential changes in life post-retirement. The event was led by Soni Kumari, General Manager (HR-Services).
The program commenced with Kalpana, Manager (HR-Final Settlement), welcoming all attendees and introducing the new mediclaim scheme. She explained the purpose of the program. Dr. Jaya Lakshmi, Medical Officer (Medical and Health Services), and yoga expert Krishna Bandhu Mishra provided insights on health management through yoga for the steelworkers.
Deepshikha, Deputy Manager (Finance and Accounts), offered detailed information on financial management to the attendees. Additionally, Sunil Kumar from Axis Bank and his team provided suggestions on wealth investment and banking services. Smt. Sangeeta Kumari, ACT (HR-Final Settlement), discussed the final settlement activities. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Kalpana.
