Bokaro District to conduct Direct Recruitment Exam for Chowkidar posts

The Bokaro district administration will conduct a direct recruitment exam for 161 Chowkidar positions on September 8, 2024. The list of eligible candidates has been published on the district's official website, www.bokaro.nic.in, following the review of applications and resolution of claims and objections. DC Jadhav provided this update on Wednesday.

A total of 4,737 applications were received for the positions. Out of these, 749 applications were found to be inappropriate, with claims and objections invited from the applicants. After review, 125 claims were submitted, of which 121 applications were approved, and 4 were rejected. Additionally, 727 applications received after the deadline were also rejected.

Following the scrutiny process, 4,055 candidates have been cleared to sit for the exam. To accommodate the candidates, five examination centers have been set up in the district as B.S. City College, Bokaro , Chas College, Chas , Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus, Kandra Chas, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sector 6, Bokaro and M.G.M. Higher Secondary School, Sector-4 F, Bokaro.

Notably, candidates can download their admit cards from the district website, www.bokaro.nic.in. It is mandatory for candidates to bring their admit cards and two passport-sized photographs to the examination. Detailed instructions and information regarding the examination can be found on the admit card.
