Thursday, 11 July 2024 | PNS | BOKARO

Every Monday, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vijaya Jadhav dedicates her time to listen to the grievances of the public, fostering a growing trust and larger crowds each week. During the recent public meeting, individuals from various parts of the district presented their concerns to the DC.

Approximately 60 people approached DC Jadhav with their issues. Some problems were resolved on the spot, while others were directed to relevant departmental officials for further action. The majority of grievances pertained to land issues, health department matters, regional office concerns, planning, and education department-related problems.

This public meeting, held every Monday at the District Collectorate, serves as a vital platform for citizens to voice their issues directly to the Deputy Commissioner. It embodies a significant step towards transparent and responsive governance. The immediate attention and action on certain issues, combined with the systematic referral of more complex matters to relevant officials, illustrate the administration’s commitment to resolving public grievances effectively.

Present at the event were Deputy Development Commissioner Girja Shankar Prasad, Additional Collector Mohd. Mumtaz Ansari, Headquarters Deputy Superintendent of Police Animesh Kumar Gupta, District Transport Officer Vandana Shejwalkar, District Supply Officer Shalini Khalko, and District Education Officer Jagarnath Lohra, among others.
