BJP President Babulal Marandi on Monday hit back at the opposition's allegations of harming the Constitution and reservation at the party headquarters. Babulal Marandi said that Rahul Gandhi, who roams around with a copy of the Constitution, should apologize for the Emergency imposed in the country by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when his grandmother had banned the media. The Constitution was crushed. No one had any freedom.
The leaders who raised their voice against the Emergency were put in jail. Babulal Marandi said that the whole country observes June 25 as Black Day. Our party has also decided that Black Day will be observes in all the district headquarters of Jharkhand. The crushing of the Constitution during the Emergency will be condemned.
He said that the party will observe Black Day across the state. Program in-charges have been appointed for this. These include Pradeep Verma, Gurvinder Singh Sethi, Prem Mittal, Pradeep Sinha, Deendayal Barnwal, Dr. Rajshree Jayanti.
Marandi further said that the first Mann Ki Baat program of the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program is scheduled on June 30. The party will organize Mann Ki Baat program at all booths. A committee has been formed for this in which Pradeep Verma, Saroj Singh, Kumar Amit, Suman Kumar have been included.
On June 30, the workers will also celebrate the Hul Diwas program at their booths. Workers will pay tribute to Sidhu-Kanho, Chand-Bhairav, Phoolon-Jhano and remember them. The BJP chief said that party observed the death anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on June 23 as Balidan Diwas. From 23 June death anniversary to 6 July birth anniversary, the party has decided to inspire the public and party workers at every unit. A committee has been formed for this which includes Manoj Singh, Sunita Singh, Vinay Jaiswal, Muneshwar Sahu.
Also, the the party will organize "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" program from 23 June to 6 July. Party workers will plant a tree in the name of their respective mothers. MPs Aditya Sahu, Rakesh Bhaskar, Satyadev Munda have been given the responsibility for this.
On 5 June Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed that a tree should be planted in the name of one's mother. Said that the reason behind this is that the way the temperature of the country and the world is gradually increasing, the whole world is worried about it. By planting more and more trees by the countrymen, greenery can come and temperature can be balanced.
He said that BJP got around 81 lakh votes in the Lok Sabha elections. The people of the state made BJP win 9 Lok Sabha seats. A very large population of the state supported the party. Therefore, the party will organize big programs at the assembly level to felicitate the people and workers of that area. Party leaders, MPs, MLAs will all be present in this program. On this occasion, a resolution has to be taken for the upcoming assembly elections. For this, MLAs Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Ashok Sharma, Naveen Jaiswal, Sameer Oraon, Biranchi Narayan, Aparna Sen Gupta, Anant Ojha, Dr. Louis Marandi, Geeta Koda and Dinesh Kumar have been given the responsibility.
