A delegation of BJP, led by judicial affairs chief Sudhir Srivastava, reached the Election Commission and demanded the dismissal of the police station in-charge who danced in the victory procession of Dumka MP.

Sudhir Srivastava said that on 5th June 24, at 4:30 pm, on the Kundhit main road, there was a victory procession of the winning candidate from Dumka Lok Sabha and in the procession Kundhit police station in-charge Suresh Dubey of Jamtara district under Nala Legislative Assembly was dancing publicly. This is the first incident of such a police officer dancing in a victory procession in the whole country. BJP demanded that when the inspector danced so much on the victory of his candidate, then what all dealings he did to make his favorite candidate win during the election before winning should also be made public.

The job of the police station in-charge is to maintain law and order in the victory procession and not to dance in the victory procession.

This is just an example of how JMM has used the administration in the elections. Now there is a need to get the video of the victory procession of all the five winning candidates of JMM and Congress so that it can be known which officials of the administration are dancing. The delegation has also requested to get the call data and Whatsapp chat of the last three months of the police station in-charge Suresh Dubey. The delegation has demanded that Suresh Dubey be dismissed and re-election be held on the Dumka Lok Sabha seat. Tariq Imran and Subodh Kant were included in the delegation.
