BJP scared, it cannot face JMM and Hemant Soren: JMM

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Monday targeted BJP and said that Himanta Biswa Sarma should have said that his party is scared, they cannot face JMM and they cannot face Hemant Soren.

Addressing a press meet JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that Himanta has come to Jharkhand to teach law without any information. “He should tell whether the farmers' movement was happening in Pakistan. This is the same Himanta whose party put nails on the roads to stop the farmers' agitators. Barbed wire and concrete barriers were installed. Where was Himanta then? Let me remind him that during the farmers' movement, 42 cases were registered in Delhi. At the same time, 138 cases were registered in Haryana. In total, 180 FIRs were registered in one movement. Cases were registered in the name of named and lakhs of unknown people,” he added.

Bhattacharya said, in fact this is their panic. “Their frustration was also visible in the statement of Assam CM Himanta on Sunday. BJP is no longer ready to contest elections politically. Himanta kept asking for hours in a press conference whether he met or not, whether he met or not. This is a political fight. He also said that he mentioned the FIR registered by the police and alleged that JMM is behind filing a large number of FIRs. He said that JMM wants to suppress the voice of BJP by filing FIRs,” he added.

The JMM General Secretary also said that BJP Governments demolish houses without registering FIRs on protest and here these people got scared of FIRs.

“Elections are to be held in four states this year. Jharkhand is also one of them. First Jammu and Kashmir was divided. Democracy was hurt. Now elections are being held there after it came to the notice of the Supreme Court. The Election Commission has announced the dates of elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The code of conduct has also been implemented in both these states. Meanwhile, the Haryana BJP State President has written a letter to the Election Commission. In this, he has demanded the commission to change the date of the elections to be held on a certain date in Haryana. He said that this is the first time in the history of the Country that the leader of the ruling party in the center is demanding a change in the date of the elections,” said Bhattacharya.

The JMM Spokesperson said that the reason for this is that the BJP is scared. The BJP is terrified today. “The BJP is afraid of coming in front of the people. Therefore, it wants to postpone or delay the elections. Its effect was also seen in Jharkhand. Here, on the 23rd, they held a rally. Many miscreants belonging to the BJP were present in this rally. They attacked the security personnel and police administration of the state. Such people were controlled by firing tear gas shells. These people came wearing gloves and had brought cutters with them. Stones were thrown by these miscreants. Stones were thrown with the intention of killing the police personnel. He said that everyone has the video of this,” he added.
