After the instructions of the central government, the state's Science and Technology Department has also issued a notification regarding this.

Although this system has not been made mandatory yet, it is believed that after allowing the use of Aadhaar for the attendance system, this system can soon be implemented in all departments.

In the notification issued by the Science and Technology Department, it has been said that the central government has decided to start an Aadhaar based biometric system (AEBAS) in all the offices and educational institutions of the state government. Therefore, now this system will be implemented in the offices of MP.

Through this, Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation will work to give technical advice to the state government to make the attendance system of employees and teachers effective. Biometric systems will become the medium of recording attendance.

The Science and Technology Department has said that due to the implementation of this system, there will be no change in office and school, college timings. Also, there will be no change in the already existing rules regarding early and late attendance of employees and teachers.

The department has said that the central government has decided to authenticate Aadhaar for good governance in which the rules of social welfare, innovation and knowledge are followed. The department has said that the central government has not made it mandatory. Therefore, the Aadhaar based biometric attendance system can be used on a voluntary basis.
