As a part of the massive tree plantation drive organised on Friday, SM Ramanathan, Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal planted saplings in Jamboori ground, Piplani.
On this occasion B K Singh, General Manager (HR); all general managers, DROs, Town Administration officials, TAC members and employees in large number were present. Around 250 saplings have been planted in second phase.
In the first phase around 8000 saplings have been planted under "Miyawaki" method in the preceding year under the assistance of Pankaj Bharti of Lalitamba Welfare Society.
In the present financial year around 1 Lakh sapling plantation shall be carried out by BHEL, out of which 56,000 saplings have been planted today in various sectors of the industrial township.
