Around 2,000 benches and desks are to be placed at the dispatch centre GLA college campus for the works related to the rolling out of the polling parties.
Polling parties are to roll out on May 11 and 12 as voting is on May 13. It becomes a huge fair like scene at the dispatch centre, which is the GLA college campus.
Giving this information the district education officer Durganand Jha said "The host college is the GLA college. It is ready to place in its 250 benches and desks."
Jha further said "We are planning to have benches and desks from JS college Daltonganj too. This college is situated near the Bazaar Samiti."
YSN Mahila College Daltonganj will also be knocked at for the benches and desks reminded the district education officer.
Nearby government schools will also be tapped for benches and desks.
Jha said we need 2000 benches and desks at the dispatch centre at the GLA college which is giving us only 250 benches and desks.
Benches and desks will be collected from two other colleges the JS college Daltonganj and YSN Mahila college Daltonganj besides from the nearby government schools.
Polling parties are to roll out from the dispatch centre at the GLA college where for sitting purposes till roll out 2000 benches and desks are required at the dispatch centre.
