Bokaro:The Bahuda Yatra (return journey) of Lord Jagannath was celebrated with the same enthusiasm in Bokaro Steel City on July 15 as the Rath Yatra. The idols of the deities were ceremoniously brought out of the temple premises and placed on the chariot after performing the traditional rituals. The chariot was cleaned by Rajan Prasad, Executive Director (HR & Additional Charge of Work) of BSL. Members of the Bokaro Women's Committee, other dignitaries, and numerous devotees were present on this occasion.
The chariot procession began from the Ram Mandir complex in Sector 1, with the collective efforts of the city residents. Throughout the journey, the residents and devotees took turns to contribute and earn blessings. The procession traveled from Ram Mandir through Patharkatta Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, City Center, and Bokaro General Hospital, finally reaching Jagannath Temple. Members of the Bokaro Women's Committee, along with other city organizations, distributed water and sherbet to the participants along the route.
