Awareness Rally organized by GM Evening College on De-Addiction

The Awareness rally was organized by the National Service Scheme unit of the college with the aim of making India drug-free.The chief guest of this program was Anupriya Kumari, Director of Anupriya Foundation, who made the students aware of the impact of this event on the society.She gave the message that our goal right now is to free the youth of the country and Hazaribag from drug addiction.The Rally started from the college campus and passed through various routes of the city and ended at Gyan Jyoti College campus.

All the students of Arts, Science and Commerce participated in the morning walk.The morning walk was led by NSS Nodal Officer Mr. Umesh Thakur.Drug De-Addiction Awareness rally was jointly flagged off from the college campus by GM Group College Director and Secretary Shambhu Kumar, Principal Vinay Kumar and Anupriya Kumari.While flagging off the morning walk from the college campus, the college principal said that "People who have given up drug abuse will have happiness in their lives and road accident deaths will also reduce."College secretary Shambhu Kumar said that "drug abuse invites many kinds of diseases, the body gradually becomes weak, so everyone should stay away from drugs." 

Hundreds of children dressed in their college uniforms participated in the Awareness rally that started from the college campus and the youth were spreading awareness among the people by putting up various types of photographs and slogans on placards on the ill effects of drug abuse.We have to spread the knowledge of education, we have to drive away drug abuse, when this soul will awaken then drug abuse will end, the person who does drugs should never be blessed, such slogans were put up.The slogans being put up by the students were also attracting the people a lot.Through slogans, children were also showing pictures and cartoons of families getting ruined due to drug addiction.The students also took a pledge to spread the message of public awareness about drug addiction everywhere in the society.

In this drug de-addiction  awareness rally program, NSS volunteers of colleges Hritik Mishra, Rahul Kumar Singh, Prakash Kumar Das, Neha Kumari, Manisha Kumari, Samridhi Kumari etc. participated enthusiastically.Along with this, college teachers, Ranjan Kumar, Binay Mehta, Ajay Kumar, Kundan Sharma, Krishna Kumar, Manoj Rana, Poonam Kumari, Pushpanjali Kumari, Jayaraj Kumar, Deependra Kumar, Urmila Rana, Neelima Kujur, Shaheen Praveen, Gopal, Riyaz Ahmed made the program successful.
